Based on past results, this is our best guess/tentative schedule for the Award Ceremony but this order may change on Race Day. We will have one Ceremony with pauses as needed by the Timing Crew.  Hope to see you there!

Enjoy the excitement at Marine Park as you watch racers ring the historic Finish line bells before the Award Ceremony begins. Be sure to visit our food vendors and Sponsor booths for food, fun, games, photos and prizes. If you are over 21, you can also hit the Kulshan Beer Garden featuring local microbrews on tap and cider provided by Lost Giant Cider Co.

1st, 2nd & 3rd Place winners will receive a locally crafted award plaque

These trophies will be awarded to the overall winners in the Whatcom County Divisions for Open, Women’s and Mixed teams. The trophy will have the team’s names engraved on the trophy and the team gets to keep it for the entirety of the winning year.

The top female and top male finishers of each leg will receive a locally-produced wooden laser cut medal. Top Gun Awards will be announced at the beginning of the Award Ceremony. For the Top Gun award in the canoe leg, the award will go to the first finishers that have two female paddlers, two male paddlers and the Top Mixed (m/f) Canoe Team. Racers who are on a team that has an early release for any reason are not eligible for the Top Gun Awards.
